Occupational Health Science is the multidisciplinary field dedicated to the promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental, and social well-being of workers in all occupations, focusing on the adaptation of work to humans and of each human to their job. Within the hormonal health domain, this science specifically investigates the impact of workplace factors, such as shift work, chronic stress, and environmental exposures, on the endocrine system and metabolic function.
