Nutrient Supplements

Meaning

Nutrient Supplements are concentrated preparations intended to supplement the diet and provide essential nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, specific herbs, or other botanical ingredients, that may be missing or consumed in insufficient quantities in a person’s habitual diet. In advanced clinical practice, they are often strategically utilized to correct specific micronutrient deficiencies that impair crucial hormonal synthesis or function. They are not intended as a meal replacement.
