Non-Diabetic Individuals

Meaning

Non-Diabetic Individuals are defined as persons who do not meet the established diagnostic criteria for Diabetes Mellitus, meaning they maintain blood glucose and hemoglobin A1c levels within the normal, healthy range. This population is characterized by a functioning insulin-secreting capacity and effective peripheral insulin sensitivity, maintaining glucose homeostasis through normal physiological mechanisms. While generally healthy in this regard, this group still exhibits a wide spectrum of metabolic health, with some individuals showing signs of pre-diabetes or insulin resistance that warrant clinical attention.
