Nocturnal Recovery Metrics

Meaning

Nocturnal Recovery Metrics are a set of quantifiable physiological parameters, typically measured continuously throughout the sleep period, that provide an objective assessment of the body’s systemic repair and restorative processes. These metrics include, but are not limited to, Heart Rate Variability (HRV), resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and core body temperature nadir. Clinically, they serve as crucial indicators of autonomic nervous system balance, physical restoration, and the effectiveness of hormonal release cycles during the night.
