Neutralizing Antibodies (NAbs)

Meaning

Neutralizing Antibodies (mathrmNAbs) are a specific class of antibodies produced by the immune system that are capable of blocking the biological effect of a pathogen or toxin by physically binding to it and preventing it from interacting with its target cell. In the context of hormonal health, mathrmNAbs can sometimes mistakenly target and inhibit the action of endogenous hormones or therapeutic hormone molecules, effectively reducing their biological availability and efficacy. This immune response is a form of functional hormone resistance.
