Muscular Resilience

Meaning

Muscular Resilience is the inherent quality of skeletal muscle tissue to withstand mechanical loading, resist micro-injury, and rapidly execute repair and adaptation processes following physical stress. This attribute reflects the overall anabolic health and metabolic efficiency of the muscle fiber matrix. It is a key indicator of functional capacity in the aging male and female physiology. We assess this capacity to predict long-term physical autonomy.
