Motivation Signal Integrity

Meaning

Motivation Signal Integrity is a measure of the functional robustness and clarity of the neurobiological pathways, predominantly the mesolimbic dopamine system, that are responsible for governing drive, reward anticipation, and the initiation of goal-directed behavior. High integrity implies an efficient system capable of accurately translating cognitive intention into sustained, focused action and deriving appropriate satisfaction from successful task completion. Compromised integrity can clinically manifest as apathy, anhedonia, or a significant difficulty with task initiation.
