Mitigating Future Accommodations

Meaning

This is a forward-looking clinical strategy focused on intervening early to prevent the body from developing detrimental compensatory physiological changes, or “accommodations,” in response to chronic stressors or subclinical deficiencies. The objective is to proactively address the root cause of imbalance, such as low-grade inflammation or mild adrenal insufficiency, before the body is forced to adopt less efficient, resource-depleting compensatory states that lead to overt symptoms or disease. This is a core principle of preventative longevity medicine.
