Micronutrient Depletion

Meaning

Micronutrient depletion is a state of insufficient stores of essential vitamins and minerals, such as Zinc, Magnesium, and various B vitamins, necessary for optimal physiological function. This deficiency, often subtle and subclinical, can significantly impair enzymatic reactions, cellular signaling, and overall metabolic health, including the endocrine system. Long-term depletion can compromise immune function, bone density, and hormonal synthesis pathways.
