Micro-Dosing

Meaning

Micro-Dosing is a pharmacological strategy involving the administration of a therapeutic agent, such as a hormone, at a significantly lower concentration than the conventional therapeutic dose, often a fraction of the standard amount. The intention is to achieve a beneficial physiological or psychological effect without eliciting the full systemic effects or potential side effects associated with higher doses. In hormonal health, this approach aims to gently modulate the endocrine system rather than aggressively replace or suppress it.
