Master Control Network

Meaning

The Master Control Network refers to the integrated, hierarchical system of central regulators, predominantly the Hypothalamus, Pituitary, and Adrenal (HPA) axes, which orchestrates systemic adaptation to internal and external stimuli. This network governs the timing and magnitude of nearly all major endocrine outputs necessary for survival and homeostasis. It represents the body’s primary command structure for physiological response. Dysfunction here precipitates widespread hormonal imbalance.
