Male Estradiol Levels

Meaning

Male Estradiol Levels refer to the concentration of the primary human estrogen, estradiol (E2), circulating in the male systemic circulation. Although considered a primary female sex hormone, E2 is physiologically essential in men for modulating libido, bone density, cognitive function, and cardiovascular health. However, maintaining E2 within a narrow, optimal range is crucial, as levels that are too low or too high can disrupt the testosterone-to-estradiol ratio and lead to clinical symptoms of hormonal imbalance.
