LH FSH

Meaning

Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) are critical gonadotropins, glycoproteins secreted by the anterior pituitary gland, that govern reproductive function in both biological sexes. LH primarily stimulates steroid hormone production in the gonads, while FSH is fundamental for the development and maturation of gametes.
