Ipamorelin Injections

Meaning

Ipamorelin injections refer to the subcutaneous or intramuscular administration of Ipamorelin, a synthetic pentapeptide and a selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor (Growth Hormone Secretagogue Receptor, GHSR-1a). This compound is utilized clinically to stimulate the pulsatile release of endogenous Growth Hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland. It is specifically designed to promote GH secretion without significantly increasing the release of cortisol, prolactin, or other pituitary hormones. This selectivity offers a more physiological approach to GH optimization.
