Immunological Variability

Meaning

Immunological Variability refers to the extensive, non-uniform differences in the type, intensity, and duration of immune responses observed between different individuals within a population. This inherent heterogeneity in the immune system is driven by a complex interplay of genetic background, environmental exposures, and, critically, hormonal status. Clinically, immunological variability explains why two individuals exposed to the same pathogen or autoimmune trigger may develop vastly different disease phenotypes and therapeutic responses.
