Hormonal Fatigue

Meaning

Hormonal Fatigue is a non-specific, clinically descriptive term used to characterize a persistent, debilitating sense of tiredness and lack of energy that is postulated to be the direct result of chronic dysregulation or insufficiency within one or more components of the endocrine system. It is not a formal medical diagnosis but rather a constellation of symptoms often attributed to imbalances in the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis, thyroid hormones, or sex steroids. Patients often report profound exhaustion not relieved by rest.
