High-Dose Testosterone Cycling

Meaning

High-Dose Testosterone Cycling refers to the non-clinical, often supraphysiological administration of testosterone in a patterned regimen that alternates between periods of high-dose use, known as “on-cycles,” and periods of lower-dose use or complete cessation, known as “off-cycles” or “Post Cycle Therapy (PCT).” This practice is distinct from standard therapeutic Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and is typically employed with the goal of maximizing muscle mass and performance gains beyond natural limits. It carries inherent risks of HPA axis suppression, testicular atrophy, and significant cardiovascular and hepatic strain.
