Health Fraud

Meaning

Health Fraud, often referred to as “quackery,” is the deceptive promotion, advertising, or sale of articles or services that are falsely claimed to prevent, treat, or cure a disease or condition, or to improve health, well-being, or appearance, without scientific proof of effectiveness. In the hormonal health domain, this frequently involves products promising radical hormone balancing, anti-aging effects, or muscle gain without a prescription or legitimate clinical basis. This fraudulent activity is particularly dangerous because it wastes consumer money, delays proper diagnosis, and may lead to serious or fatal harm by encouraging individuals to forgo proven medical treatment.
