Gonadorelin Protocols

Meaning

Gonadorelin protocols are clinical treatment regimens utilizing Gonadorelin, which is the synthetic version of Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH), to modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. These protocols typically involve administering Gonadorelin in a pulsatile fashion to stimulate the pituitary gland to release Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). This approach is primarily used in reproductive endocrinology to treat hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and to stimulate endogenous hormone production in both men and women.
