Gonadorelin Injections

Meaning

Gonadorelin Injections refer to the therapeutic administration of a synthetic decapeptide identical to the naturally occurring Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH). This pharmaceutical agent is used in clinical practice to stimulate the anterior pituitary gland to release Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). Its primary use is diagnostic for evaluating pituitary function or therapeutically to stimulate endogenous gonadal hormone production, particularly in cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
