Gonadorelin Adjunct Utility

Meaning

The clinical use of Gonadorelin, also known as Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH), as a supplementary therapeutic agent in conjunction with primary hormonal or reproductive treatments. Its utility lies in its ability to stimulate the pituitary gland in a pulsatile fashion, thereby mimicking the natural hypothalamic signal and promoting the endogenous release of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). This adjunct role is often employed to maintain or restore the functional integrity of the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG) axis.
