GnRH Pump

Meaning

A GnRH pump, or Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone pump, is a specialized, programmable infusion device used in clinical endocrinology to deliver synthetic GnRH in a precise, pulsatile manner. This device is a therapeutic modality specifically designed to mimic the body’s natural hypothalamic release pattern of GnRH. The goal is to stimulate the pituitary gland to release Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), thereby restoring reproductive function. It is a highly specific treatment for certain forms of infertility.
