Global Health Equity

Meaning

Global Health Equity is the principle and practice of striving for a state where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health, regardless of their geographical location, socioeconomic status, gender, or other socially determined circumstances. This concept moves beyond mere equality, which is treating everyone the same, to address the systemic barriers and historical injustices that prevent certain populations from accessing essential health resources and achieving hormonal and metabolic wellness. In the context of longevity, it addresses the disparities in access to advanced diagnostics and personalized interventions.
