Ginseng

Meaning

Ginseng refers to the root of several plant species within the Panax genus, primarily Panax ginseng (Asian ginseng) and Panax quinquifolius (American ginseng), recognized for their adaptogenic properties. These plants are botanically distinct from Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus), which, despite its common name, belongs to a different genus and possesses a unique phytochemical profile.
