Focus Neurotransmitters

Meaning

Focus Neurotransmitters are the specific chemical messengers in the brain, primarily acetylcholine, norepinephrine, and dopamine, that regulate the ability to sustain attention on a specific task while filtering extraneous stimuli. The balance and appropriate release of these agents are fundamental to effective cognitive processing and working memory utilization. Imbalances directly correlate with attentional lapses and reduced cognitive throughput. We measure their precursors and activity to assess attentional capacity.
