Fat Browning refers to the physiological process by which white adipose tissue (WAT) acquires characteristics typically associated with brown adipose tissue (BAT). This transformation involves an increase in mitochondrial content and the enhanced expression of uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1), enabling these beige adipocytes to dissipate energy as heat rather than storing it as lipid, fundamentally altering their metabolic function.
