Erratic TRT

Meaning

Erratic TRT, or Erratic Testosterone Replacement Therapy, describes a suboptimal clinical approach characterized by inconsistent or irregular administration of exogenous testosterone, leading to significant and undesirable fluctuations in serum hormone concentrations. This non-standard dosing pattern often results from poor patient compliance or inappropriate treatment protocols. Such hormonal instability severely compromises the therapeutic goal of stable, physiological levels and can exacerbate symptoms like mood swings, energy dips, and hematological variations.
