Environmental Input

Meaning

Environmental input encompasses all external factors—physical, chemical, and psychological—that interact with and influence an individual’s internal biological and physiological state. This includes elements such as light exposure, air quality, nutritional components, xenobiotics, and chronic psychosocial stress. Clinically, recognizing and modulating these inputs is critical, as they serve as powerful epigenetic modifiers and direct modulators of the endocrine system.
