Energy Debt

Meaning

Energy Debt is a clinical term describing a chronic, cumulative deficit where the energy expended for daily physiological processes and recovery consistently exceeds the energy acquired through nutrition and rest. This persistent metabolic imbalance forces the body into a catabolic state, diverting resources away from non-essential functions like immune surveillance and hormonal synthesis. The resulting deficit is a significant driver of chronic fatigue and endocrine disruption.
