Endogenous Synthesis Capacity

Meaning

The intrinsic ability of the body’s organs and tissues, such as the gonads and adrenal glands, to produce and secrete hormones and other vital biochemical compounds without relying on external supplementation. This capacity is a key, measurable indicator of endocrine gland health, functional reserve, and biological age. Diminished capacity often precedes overt hormonal deficiency.
