Endogenous Production Reactivation

Meaning

This clinical objective involves stimulating a patient’s own endocrine glands, such as the testes or ovaries, to resume or increase the natural, internal synthesis and secretion of specific hormones that have become suppressed or deficient. The goal is to restore the native physiological signaling cascade, often following a period of exogenous hormone administration that caused suppression of the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG) axis. Reactivation aims for sustained, self-regulated hormonal balance.
