Endocrine Control Board

Meaning

A conceptual model representing the master regulatory centers of the endocrine system, primarily encompassing the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA), Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Thyroid (HPT), and Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG) axes. This central command structure dictates the synthesis, release, and feedback regulation of virtually all systemic hormones. Optimal function of this “board” is paramount for maintaining whole-body homeostasis, metabolic rate, stress resilience, and reproductive health.
