Enclomiphene

Meaning

Enclomiphene is the pharmacologically active trans isomer of clomiphene citrate, classified as a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM). Its clinical utility in hormonal contexts involves blocking estrogen binding at specific hypothalamic sites to stimulate endogenous gonadotropin release. This action effectively promotes a cascade leading to increased natural production of testosterone and FSH.
