Dynamic Biological Calibration

Meaning

The complex, continuous process by which the human body’s homeostatic systems, including the endocrine and metabolic pathways, sense internal and external stimuli and adjust their output to maintain physiological equilibrium. This calibration is ‘dynamic’ because it involves constant, non-linear adjustments rather than a static set point, ensuring optimal function across a range of environmental and energetic demands. A well-calibrated system exhibits high resilience.
