Digital Fasting is a structured, intentional period of abstaining from or severely limiting engagement with digital devices and screen-based media to mitigate the detrimental physiological and psychological effects of constant connectivity. The practice is designed to reduce chronic dopamine overstimulation, decrease exposure to blue light, and minimize the psychological stress associated with continuous information processing. It is a targeted behavioral intervention to restore neurochemical and hormonal equilibrium.
