De-Identified Data Aggregation

Meaning

De-Identified Data Aggregation is the systematic process of collecting and combining health and physiological data from multiple individuals after all personal identifiers, such as names, addresses, and medical record numbers, have been permanently removed or masked. The resulting dataset retains the statistical value of the physiological metrics, such as hormonal ranges and metabolic responses, but cannot be traced back to any specific person. This process is crucial for large-scale research and clinical algorithm development without compromising individual privacy.
