Data Segmentation

Meaning

Data Segmentation is the methodological practice of logically partitioning a comprehensive dataset into smaller, discrete groups based on shared clinical, demographic, or physiological characteristics. In hormonal health research, this technique is employed to analyze subpopulations with similar endocrine profiles, such as individuals exhibiting a specific pattern of diurnal cortisol secretion or women in a particular stage of perimenopause. This facilitates the generation of more precise, context-specific insights.
