Data Representativeness

Meaning

The degree to which a collected dataset, particularly one used to train predictive models or establish reference ranges for hormonal health, accurately reflects the true demographic and physiological diversity of the target population. High representativeness is crucial for ensuring that diagnostic thresholds and personalized health recommendations are clinically valid and equitable across all individuals. Lack of representativeness introduces systemic bias, diminishing the utility of data-driven care.
