Dairy Sensitivity

Meaning

Dairy Sensitivity is a non-allergic, non-celiac adverse physiological reaction to one or more components found in dairy products, such as lactose, whey, or the A1 casein protein. This sensitivity is distinct from a true IgE-mediated allergy and often manifests as delayed digestive distress, skin inflammation, or systemic symptoms. In the hormonal wellness domain, dairy sensitivity is clinically significant because the resulting inflammatory cascade can indirectly perturb the delicate balance of sex hormones and stress hormones.
