Cognitive Bandwidth

Meaning

Cognitive Bandwidth defines the total capacity of the brain to process information, maintain working memory, and execute complex executive functions simultaneously. From an endocrine perspective, this capacity is directly influenced by the stability of neurotransmitter precursors and the availability of neurotrophic support. When bandwidth is limited, attention fragments, and complex problem-solving degrades. It is a measure of immediate mental throughput.
