Cognitive Aggression

Meaning

In the context of hormonal health, Cognitive Aggression refers to a state of heightened mental drive, intense focus, and robust competitiveness, which can manifest as either a functional asset for performance or a clinical symptom of underlying hormonal imbalance. It describes the psychological manifestation of high-level cognitive function coupled with a forceful, sometimes overly dominant or irritable, behavioral output. While often associated with peak mental and physical performance, chronic, unregulated aggression can signal a significant disruption in the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG) or HPA axes.
