Clomid for HPTA Restart

Meaning

The clinical application of clomiphene citrate, commonly known as Clomid, as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) to stimulate the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular Axis (HPTA) back into endogenous hormone production. This strategy is frequently employed in post-cycle therapy following exogenous anabolic steroid use or in cases of secondary hypogonadism to restore natural testosterone and sperm production. The goal is to re-establish the body’s intrinsic hormonal balance by overriding negative feedback loops.
