Chronology Independence

Meaning

Chronology Independence describes a state where an individual’s biological age and physiological function diverge favorably from their chronological age, exhibiting health parameters typical of a younger demographic. This signifies that the cumulative effects of time—such as telomere shortening, epigenetic drift, and decline in hormone production—have been mitigated or actively reversed. The individual’s internal, functional capacity operates independently of the simple passage of years. This clinical objective aims to compress morbidity and extend the period of peak vitality.
