Cellular Command Fidelity

Meaning

Cellular Command Fidelity describes the accuracy and responsiveness with which individual cells interpret and execute the biochemical instructions received from systemic signals, primarily hormones and growth factors. High fidelity indicates that a cell responds precisely and robustly to the intended endocrine message, ensuring proper tissue function and homeostasis. Loss of fidelity, often seen with aging, leads to impaired tissue function and hormonal resistance.
