Biological Solvency Index

Meaning

A theoretical or composite metric representing the body’s overall reserve capacity and functional resilience against physiological stressors and aging. This index quantifies the remaining margin of biological function above the threshold required for baseline survival, analogous to financial solvency indicating an entity’s ability to meet long-term obligations. A high Biological Solvency Index signifies robust health, excellent homeostatic control, and a significant capacity to resist chronic disease and recover from acute challenges. This is a critical indicator in preventative and longevity medicine.
