Biological Certainty

Meaning

Biological Certainty refers to the degree of confidence we possess regarding the predictive validity of a biological marker or pathway in relation to a specific clinical outcome, such as disease progression or therapeutic response. In hormonal health, this involves assessing the robustness of data linking a specific biomarker fluctuation to a known physiological state or future risk. We seek to establish the reliability of an observed physiological mechanism within a defined population cohort. High certainty implies strong correlation and plausible causation supported by mechanistic data.
