Biological Assets

Meaning

Biological Assets are defined as the measurable, inherent physiological reserves and functional capacities of an individual’s body that contribute directly to healthspan and resilience. These assets encompass high-quality muscle mass, bone mineral density, cognitive reserve, and the efficiency of the immune and endocrine systems. Unlike chronological age, these metrics reflect the true biological age and capacity for adaptation and repair. Protecting and enhancing these assets is the primary goal of longevity medicine.
