Bio-Structural Integrity

Meaning

Bio-Structural Integrity refers to the optimal, cohesive state of the body’s physical architecture, encompassing the strength, density, and functional quality of its major load-bearing tissues: bone, muscle, connective tissue, and cellular membranes. Maintaining this integrity is a core principle of longevity, as structural decline leads to frailty, impaired mobility, and increased risk of injury, fundamentally compromising quality of life. The clinical focus is on the systemic maintenance of the extracellular matrix and cellular scaffolding.
