Meaning

Anti-Müllerian Hormone, or AMH, is a dimeric glycoprotein primarily secreted by the granulosa cells of small, growing follicles in the ovaries of females and by the Sertoli cells in the testes of males. It serves as a crucial regulatory factor in reproductive physiology, influencing both fetal sexual differentiation and adult gonadal function.
