Amyloid-beta deposition refers to the abnormal accumulation of amyloid-beta peptides within the brain parenchyma and cerebral vasculature, forming insoluble protein aggregates known as amyloid plaques. This process is recognized as a primary neuropathological feature associated with Alzheimer’s disease and other cerebral amyloid angiopathies.
